NAS talks of Arema move
Last night Noh Alam Shah came on as a second half substitute for Tampines Rovers in the SLeague. But next month he will be pulling on the blue of Arema Malang in Indonesia.
"I have lost a lot of motivation to play in the S-League, for reasons I do not wish to elaborate right now," Alam Shah told Today.
He then elaborates "football in Indonesia is very physical and that's what I'm looking for. It'll be great to play weekly in front of big crowds."
For sure he was very disappointed to get the red card against Singapore Armed Forces claiming that he had never touched the SAF keeper Shahril Jantan.
Alam Shah is a big character. His all action, passionate style is perhaps at odds with the twee world of Singapore football and I feel sure he will become a big star with Arema whose fans will recognise one of their own and give him an adulation impossible at Tampines
He may only regret not having made the move a year or two earlier.
Still, Singapore's loss is Indonesia's gain.
