Bambang Is Back

Iconic Indonesian striker Bambang Pamungkas will be back in action next season after taking a break during 2013.

The ex Persija and Selangor forward has signed for Pelita Bandung Raya on a 12 month deal.

It will be interesting to see whether he adds much to the gate their. PBR most definitely suffer in the shadows of West Java rivals Persib and struggle for meaningful attendances.

Still, the number of clubs Bambang could play for is somewhat limited. Despite interest from Persib a few years back it was unlikely he would have signed for Persija's biggest rivals.

Comments:
Bambang decided to take a year off because Persija couldn't fulfill his rights until now. He chose PBR, a team with the least attendance record on last year's ISL. Even their former coach, Darko Janackovic, admitted that PBR failed to pay his 3-months payroll.

Will Bambang regret this decision? Let's see how this'll pan out.
