Slemen Will Host Persija & Persib
The game between Persija and Persib was originally called off, by Persib, after their team bus was attacked by fans of Persija.
Security officials in Jakarta said they no longer wanted the high octane game held in their city; they couldn't arrange to keep the bus safe on the day when the game itself was to be played behind closed doors, so decided that was enough.
There was some talk the game would be relocated to Pekanbaru on the island of Sumatra, a long trek for anyone at the best of times.
Now a semblance of sanity has been restored with the announcement the game would be played in Sleman, a suburb of Yogyakarta that boasts one of the best stadiums in the country.
The game will take place 28 August.
