The Plot Thickens

Just days to go before the much hyped Liga Primer Indonesia kicks off and the police are refusing to give permission for the opening game, between Solo and Persema, to go ahead.

All sport events with the likelihood of large crowds need security clearance.

The police are saying that until the LPI, the breakaway league, sort out their differences with the official football body in Indonesia, PSSI, they will not authorise games to go ahead.

This is going to run and run...
