Aussies Flock To LPI
Liga Primer Indonesia side Bogor Raya have signed Andrija Jukic after A League side Perth Glory agreed to release him from his contract.
While many have been wary of the breakaway league which lacks FA sanction Australians have flocked to join the league. Old hand Robbie Gaspar has been in Indonesia and is in his second season with Persema who recently withdrew from the official Indonesia Super League.
Josh Maguire, who last season played for Persebaya and PSPS, was recently snapped up by Semarang United.
Maguire and Jukic could well meet in 23 January when their teams meet in Bogor.
Meanwhile in tomorrow's season opener Solo of course will welcome Persema and Solo have their own Australian with keeper Aleksander Vrteski who once played for, umm, Perth Glory.
