Looking back at that record you can understand the shock waves caused by the Philippines reaching the semi final for the first time ever. Their 2-0 victory over hosts and holders Vietnam was only the third time they had scored more than one goal in a game in the competition (not including play offs).

Now they play Indonesia in the two legged semi, both to be played in Jakarta, and their record against them is less than stellar!
