Deportation Threat!
The Indonesian Football Association, known as PSSI, continue to play hard ball with the alternate Liga Primer Indonesia. After threatening coaches and referees they are now targeting foreign players who want to come and play here with deportation.
Now I'm not sure they have that in their power, work permits are granted by government departments not the FA. They are also threatening to report any players to both the AFC and FIFA.
A slight tangent here but I love the way they are bleating about following regulations set down by FIFA et all but do you know which country has a high number of claims being processed in Switzerland for outstanding payment caused by clubs in PSSI competition reneging on signed contracts?
I'm not sure how International Transfer Certificates work but I think they are needed every time a player moves to a new country and are perhaps issued by FAs? If they are, and foreign players decide to move on from LPI to another country, who does the paperwork this end? PSSI or LPI?
The following players are being mentioned:
Domingo Miguel Vilallba Lopes (Paraguay), Ibi Mingsley (Liberia), Patricio Jimenez Diaz (Chile), Alfredo Figuera (Chile), Luis Eduardo (Chile), Antonio Teles Junior (Brasil), Fernando Andrade (Brasil), Leandro Lima Braga (Brasil), Oscar Aravena (Chile), Amarildo De Souza (Brasil), Jose Luis Fitosa (Brasil), Javier Leopoldo Roca (Chile), Kim Jung Kyung (Korea), Na Byung Yul (Korea), John Tarkpor (Liberia), Yetna Mouaha Felix (Kamerun)
