Persib's mysterious new foreigner

While most teams have had a right old spring cleaning session ditching most of their players from last season Persib have acted rather more cautiously. Last year's squad was as good as any in the Indonesia Super League and new coach Darko Janackovic has just added a couple of key players to add to the depth of the team.

Baihakki Khaizan looks set to be unveiled as their newest recruit. The Singapore international is also thought to be bringing with him another Singaporean, but who could it be, but that plan has been delayed as he must do some national service first!

Siswanto's arrival from Persema suggests that Persib will not be looking to Thai international Suchao Nuchnao this season. Suchao was very impressive during his loan spell last season but the club were unable to adequately replace him so perhaps they will look to Siswanto, a former Persib player, to provide consistency.

Atep down the left will be looking to continue his fine form from last season. And Persib will need pace from the flanks as neither Christian Gonzales nor Pablo Frances are reknowned for their speed.
