Persib still looking for new players
Despite adding strikers Pablo Frances and Rahmat Affandi and defender Baihakki Khaizan Persib are still eyeing new additions to their squad. One player in their sights is reported to be Mustafic Fahruddin who of course last season played alongside Baihakki at Persija.
If a deal for Farra falls through then Persib will consider another couple of Singaporeans, Juma'at Jantan and Shahril Ishak.
Looking at a strike force boasting Christian Gonzales, Frances and Affandi one can't help but wonder where the pace is. Hilton Moreira has been allowed to move on and the three named aren't reknowned for lightning breaks down the flanks. It remains to be seen whether Esteban, formerly of Pelita Jaya, has the quality or end product.
Additionally with Hariono prowling in front of the defence is Mustafic the type of player they really need?
But hey, just my two bobs worth.
