It's Shahril - but when?
Finally, though it has hardly been the best kept secret in football, Shahril Ishak is to become a Persib player and is expected to arrive in Bandung soon.
Ishak currently plays for Home United in the SLeague and with Persib scheduled to open their Indonesia Super League campaign on 28 September away to Persela it remains to be seen when the Singaporean international can get here.
His team are currently engaged in a three way battle for the SLeague with Tampines Rovers and Etoile and it would send a wrong message to both fans and rivals were Home to allow Ishak to leave before the title has been decided.
Ishak has played 17 times for the Singapore national team and has been in fine form this season as Home United have gone on a 14 match unbeaten run in their quest to secure their first SLeague since 2003.
Next Monday Home United take on Tampines Rovers in a vital top of the table clash, just one week before Persib begin their season.
