Fandi Goes Dutch?
Former Singapore international Fandi Ahmad, consider a cross between George Best and Gary Lineker, is considering a move to the Netherlands. His former club Gronigen, where he is still fondly remembered, are believed to have offered him a coaching position.
Fandi is however still under contract with Pelita Jaya, a deal that ends in November, so is unlikely to rush into a deal.
He is at present in England with two of his sons who are busy wowing English clubs with promises of trials with Arsenal over the next few days and interest from Chelsea as well.
