Tampines Rovers v Woodlands Wellington 5-0
It's going to be very difficult to write this because I am sat near a French person who cannot stop talking about himself in, admitedly bloody good English, but I just wish he would shut le rubber duck up. Anyway this post is best read in an 'Allo 'Allo accent.
Qiu Li may have got the plaudits with his two goals but at the heart of this win was Japanese midfielder Akihiro Nakamura. Telling that it was he who was replaced after a five minute burst when the Stags netted three times and not one of the aging strikers.
This win moved Tampines to within two points of leaders Etoile and, crucially, levelled their goal differences.
Thursday sees Gombak United to take on Etoile. That is going to be very interesting as the Bulls are the only team to have beaten the Froggies this year.
A word about Woodlands. Awful.
