Stars in their eyes
Interesting game tonight in the SLeague when Gombak United take on Etoile at Queenstown Stadium. The Bulls' title challenge has disappeared in a season of frustrating inconsistency but they are the only team to have defeated the French team this season.
Since that defeat in April they have gone 10 unbeaten (8 wins) and not conceded a goal in the SLeague.
Etoile started the season with a PR blitzkreig but things have gone pretty quiet over the last couple of months and now rumours circulate where once there was praise.
Coach Patrick Valle has been linked with a couple of Indonesian teams, Persibo and Persijap, rumours strongly denied by the club. The club have also come out and said every player has his price while they are not actively seeking to sell any.
Big game tonight but with World Cup games on at the same time will fans turn out for it?
