Tragedy in Cambodia
Wilson Mene, an 18 yr old Nigerian striker with Prek Pra Keila in the Metfone Cambodian League died whilst playing at the Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh on Saturday.
He collapsed 25 minutes into the game and despite quick medical attention on the pitch and in the ambulance he was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. It's reported from the hospital that the cause was a heart attack.
The last fatalities in Cambodian football were in July 2008 when three players were killed by lightning.
