Siriwijaya's Cup Challenge

Many people's favourites for the Indonesia Super League, Sriwijaya have performed woefully at times this season, witness their 5-1 drubbing by Persitara last weekend. Now Rahmad Darmawan's season could make or break in the space of 12 hectic days in the not so merry month of May.

After topping their group in the AFC Cup, a great achievement after total failure in last year's Asian Champions League and perhaps a truer reflection of Indonesia's standing in continental football, Sriwijaya face a one off tie against Thai side Thai Port in Palembang.

The venue is crucial and not just for the anticipated home side bias. The game comes slap bang in the middle of a tiring run of games that will define their season.

Have a look at this little lot.

02/05 v Persiwa (ISL)*
05/05 v Persipura (ISL)*
08/05 v Persija (IC)
10/05 v Persisam (IC)
12/05 v Thai Port (AFC)
14/05 v PSMP (IC)
