A night of fireworks in Asian football. After Muang Thong United sneaked through to the next round the previous night all Thai eyes were on Thai Port's trip to Palembang. The home team took an early lead but then, their fixture congestion taking its toll, fell apart as the Thais took control.
Then the all Vietnamese affair. What a ding dong affair that one looks. Nine yellows, one red is a story in itself no doubt. The game wasn't won until Son's effort in the last minute of extra time.
