New Blood

With Alfred Reidl now firmly ensconced as Indonesia's coach it has been suggested that there won't be many new names being looked at as he looks to World Cup qualifiers, the Independence Cup and the AFF Cup later this year.

But which players should be worth a look? I don't mean the usual suspects who have been hindered in the past by a lack of tactical savvy, but people who can come in and, in the cliche, shake things up a bit.

Yongki Aribowo (Persik) - striker who has netted consistently in the second half of the season in a struggling team
Jajang Maulyana (Pelita Jaya) - much is expected of this lad who spent time wooing fans in Brazil
Atep (Persib) - spent time in the national team under Peter Withe, this season has shone out wide
Eka Ramdani (Persib) - please remind me why he is not a regular?
Djayusman (Persebaya) - bit of a Row Z man which is no bad thing in a country where most defenders fancy themselves as Ronald Koeman
Hamka Hamzah (clubless) - potentially a great player but attitude issues. Perhaps a stern talking to from Reidle to allow him to let his talent show
Hariono (Persib) - tough tackling midfielder
Syamsul Arief (Persela) - nice touch on the ball and scores goals
Mega Kurnia (Arema) - precocious goal keeping talent
I Made Wirawan (Persiba) - consistent keeper in low profile team

Any more?

Comments:
I am agree with your choices and I would like to add a couple..

* Andik Vermansyah- We all know that he has good pace and dribbling but sometimes no end products, but I think Indonesia NT needs his determination and his bravery in the field.

* Tantan - I dunno why but every time I watch him playing, his playing style is quite like Wayne Rooney.

That is all I have in mind anyway..How bout the defender? It seems Indonesia lack of good defender..
