Up for the cup
I hate all this nonsense like round of 16 and round of 32 but Indonesia has now gone down that path as well for the Indonesian Cup.
The Round of 32 (1st Round) is coming to a close this week and the following teams are assured f a place in the Round of 16 (2nd Round) to be played next month.
Sriwijaya (Winners 2008 & 2009), Arema (Winners 2005 & 2006), Persipura (Runners Up 2006, 2008, 2009), Persib, Persik, Persisam, Persikabo and PS Mojokerto Putra.
Final eight spots to be decided after ties being played today and tomorrow.
Three Indonesia Super League clubs have already been knocked out. They are Persitara, Persijap and PSPS
NOTE - There have been four Indonesian Cup competitions since it was introduced in 2005. The final in 2008 actually relates to the 2007 season which lasted about 14 months.
