State of shock

Persiwa v Arema 0-2 (M Riduan, Roman Chmelo)

Is this Persiwa's first ever home defeat? Certainly until yesterday they had not lost in Wamena this year and I don't think they were last season.

After the Pelita Jaya game the Arema coach Robert Alberts bluntly came out and said he didn't want to see any 'hanky panky' in Wamena. Did his mind games pay off or is there a deeper meaning behind this result? One alluded to by a reader who posted a comment suggesting Persiwa would drop points in this game and recieve a lighter punishment after they beat the shit out of a Persisam player recently?

I love Indonesian's cynicism!

Comments:
Since every one is apparently eying them, I think it is more like couldn't make "hanky panky" effort to help them rather than dropped points. I conclude, their “hanky panky” effort is worth opponent's goals + 1 goal. So, if every thing went as usual, they would earn 3 - 2 win.

wonder if they will be so 'charitable' against persema?

It depends on Persema. Will they be humble enough to accept charity? I think it is hard for them to recover after a humiliating defeat
