PSM's revival
Things looked grim for PSM Makassar. One of the biggest clubs in the country they had fallen on hard times recently and for much of this season they were in real danger of relegation. Drastic times call for drastic measures and out when the coach and five foreigners while half the team was rebuilt. And how.
Just two defeats in their last 11 games, and one of them away to Persipura, has seen the team climb away from the relegation zone, if there is to be one this year, and the goals have been flying in.
Osvaldo Moreno has led the way with eight while his striker partner Jung Hwan Park, who only managed two for Persiba in the first half of the season, has doubled that in the second half.
They now sit comfortably in 9th place and after that surprise win against Persiwa in the Indonesia Cup perhaps have their eye on some glory now that they are most definitely a side in form.
