Obatola Marks US Debut
It's a far cry from Jurong West Stadium but Gabriel Obatola showed his worth on his debut for Portland Timberwolves when he scored the only goal of the game against Seattle Sounders in a pre season friendly. In front of nealry 19,000 fans.
Just think, had not Singapore authorities got smarmy and rejected his employment pass he would still be in the SLeague and looking forward to pulling on a Lions shirt next year. Instead he has been catapaulted on to a far bigger stage and who knows what awaits the striker in the near future

its such a waste for singapore considering oj could have provide the spark, creativity and threat when going forward which is what they are really lacking now...what a waste..
