Interesting.
I guess the sheer number of followers is having a detrimental effect on the development of Indonesia players, and this the national team.
There is a danger the TPL (Thailand) might head down that route as its growing wealth and reputation continues to attract talent from abroad.

Indeed but then again the Premiership is long established, with professional academies and a (relatively) strong pyramid of divisions below the Premiership.
