Persija's first signing
With Benny Dollo now officially in charge of Persija the Jakarta club have announced the signing of international midfielder Firman Utina. The combative Firman is likely to provide better balance in a midfield which was top heavy with players who liked to play deep.
Firman is a familiar face to Dollo having previously played for him at Arema and Persita.
Persija are still interested in a striker and have been strongly linked to former Persipura man Ernest Jeremiah who was last seen of in Indonesia headbutting a ref in the Copa Indonesia final 2009 and earning himself a 12 month ban.
