Darby to teach balls
Good news in Thailand yesterday. The Football Association there has announced that footballs will receive their own special coaching from the experienced Steve Darby.
Following on from a poor showing in the SEA Games last year the FA have appointed a new assistant coach to Bryan Robson Attapol Bussapakom to replace Darby after what the head of FAT described as an 'unacceptable' failure.
Darby will now be a football instructor as well as overseeing Thailand's foreign legion.
It is thought that if Darby, who has formerly coached Home United, Johor and Perak in the region, does a good job instructing footballs he may be given greater responsibility by providing instruction for recalcitrant cones or promising bibs.
Darby was unavailable for comment as he was busy inflating balls ahead of starting his new duties
