ISL 2nd December

Pelita Jaya v Arema 0-2 (Roman Chemelo, Rachmat Affandi)

Plenty of pressure from Pelita Jaya second half but various limbs and inspired keeping by Kurnia Mega kept Arema in the lead...until Affandi guaranteed the points with a sweet, low drive

Win your away games and you're gonna have a pretty good season. And for Arema that's three wins and one draw on the road.

After the game story has it that Pelita Jaya fans attacked the Arema support as they were leaving the stadium.

Persipura v Sriwijaya 1-2 (Alberto Goncalves; Rahmat Rivai, Zah Rahan)

I heard at the weekend that the Persipura players aren't happy at having to play in Makassar. And you can see why! One draw and one defeat already this season for the champions at their adopted home ain't the form of champions. OK so they were without Boas on SEA Games duty but even so.

Persiwa v Persib 2-0 (Eric Weeks, Eddie Foday Boakay)

On the other hand...seriously, don't go. They say that anything can happen in football but not seemingly in Wamena where visiting teams NEVER get a result. And no one is suspicious?!

Meanwhile four defeats in six for Persib...

Bontang v PSM 3-0

Persija v Persik 0-0

Persik in goaless draw shock horror!

Comments:
Why Persiwa always win at Home???
Coz Wamena is a higland like La Paz in Bolivia... Highland Wamena 1600 km from surface sea...
So why away team always difficult win in Wamena...

i hope that's the reason!

Sorry, not 1600 km, but 1600 m... :)

that seems unfair..
