Chonburi fans protest

Fans of TPL side Chonburi are none too impressed after being told they would have to play their final home game of the season against Thai Port in Bangkok at the Supachalasai Stadium.

This sanction was imposed after some Chonburi fans were alleged to have assaulted some members of the media at a recent home game.

Chonburi fans are planning to go to the game and stay outside the stadium as a protest against the decision which they see as unfair.

The Thai FA offices are in the Supachalasai but they will probably be at the Thunderdome to hand over the TPL trophy to Muang Thong United.

By the way, allegedly, the media bods who were assaulted work, allegedly, for the company that is a major investor/shareholder of Muang Thong United...

Let's hope it doesn't rain or there could be a few bedraggled Chonburi fans outside the stadium...
