Robbie Gaspar
Australian Robbie Gaspar seems to have been around for ages. The 28 year old midfielder has been playing in Indonesia since 2005 when he lined up with Persita. But even before then he had had a colourful career.
He started his career as a 16 year old in Croatia with Hajduk Split before returning to his home land with Sydney Olympic. In 2001 he joined Perth SC in the city of his borth but he was never able to make a breakthrough into top flight football downunder and so in 2002 he tried his luck in Asia.
His forst team was QAF in Brunei before moving to Sabah in 2003 while 22 years old. Perhaps under the tutelage of St George old boy Scott Olleranshaw?
After Persita he packed his toothbrush and moved to Persiba where he spent three years before now landing in East Java with Persema.
