ISL new boys fancy Kosin
Persisam Samarinda, nicknamed the Borneo Eagles, have expressed an interest in Chonburi's international keeper Kosin Hathairattanakool.
The newly promoted side already have former Persita keeper Wawan Darmawan plus a couple of others but coach Aji Santoso is keen to bring in one more.
I would humbly suggest however Persisam do some homework about Thailand. Previously they had intended going to see the Thais take on Iraq in a friendly that the Thais knew nothing about.
Now they admit they don't know much about Kosin, ie his contract status. The article likewise is in the dark about him as the headline says 'mantan' which means former.
For their information the Thai Premier League ends in October. After that the Thais have a couple of Asian Cup qualifiers against Singapore in November. So probably the earliest he could arrive, if he was interested, would be late April.
I was over in Thailand back in June and Kosin told me then that he would be open to a return to Indonesia, we discussed his former club Persib, but you never know if he was just being polite!
