Deco to play in V League!?
Chelsea’s Portuguese midfielder Deco is likely to play for V-League club T&T Hanoi after the World Cup 2010 in South Africa, said the local team’s president on Tuesday.
Speaking to Thanh Nien from Portugal, club President Do Quang Hien said football broker Jorge Mendes had helped him contact Chelsea’s management board and the English Premier League club had given Hien the green light for the transfer of Deco.
Deco’s contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the 2011 season.
Additionally, Hien also said he had contacted Spain’s La Liga club Real Madrid’s Director General Jorge Valdano to discuss transferring veterans Guti and Rudd Van Nistelrooy.
If things go well, Guti and Nistelrooy could also play for T&T Hanoi in the 2010 V-League season, Hien said.
COMMENT - umm, yeah, right!
