PSIS v Persik 1-2

Like many people I feared for Persik once financial conditions forced quality like Budi Sudarsono, Danilo Fernando and Christian Gonzales to move on. But they've hung on in there and this result, a rare away win, was inspired by the Batak Boys. Former PSMS trio, Saktiwan Sinaga, Legimin Raharjo and Mahyadi Panggabean were at the heart of this well earned victory against a woeful PSIS side.

Saktiwan was everywhere, causing problems all along the line as all good centre forwards do and with Indonesia fring blanks on the international stage, nil in five games, perhaps a timely reminder of his abilities for national team coach Benny Dollo.

Saktiwan gave Persik the lead , Feri equalised moments later before Legiman secured the three points for Persik.

As for PSIS... not much really. 17 goals in 31 games and 20 points tells its own story. They had one effort, a speculative cross that loked like it may have crossed the line disallowed. Replays were inconclusive. They also missed a penalty.
