Persiwa win big
Persiwa v PSIS 6-0 (Boakay Eddie Foday 4, Redouane Barkaoui 2) 7,000
Persiwa, nicknamed the Highlanders, climb to second with this win making it a Papua one-two at the top of the ISl. Their home record this season makes interesting reading
13 13 0 0 29-6
Compare with their away form
13 3 2 8 12-23
This is their third season in the top tier of Indonesian football and their home record over that time also makes interesting reading
2006
13 10 2 1 23-7
2007
16 15 1 0 41-7
One home defeat in 42 home games.
Unbeaten at home since June 2006 when Papua rivals Persipura won 2-1.
39 straight without defeat. 38 home wins, three draws and one defeat!
20 goals conceded.
Currently on a run of 27 consecutive home wins.
What can we learn from this? Probably little beyond the fact I have way too much free time!
