Without both Pierre Njanka and Greg Nwokolo, red carded in their last game at Arema, Persija dropped two more vital points in their title challenge as they came from 2-0 down. Because of the nonsensical decision not to allow the Jakarta side to play games in their home city it looks like their title bid could fizzle out in a series of road trips and tedious airport waiting.
