Uzbekistan's footballing wealth
I remember seeing on TV last year somewhere people effusively praising Uzbekistan for investing serious money into their football because they had recruited Rivaldo and Zico.
At the time my suspicions were raised. Money just doesn't flow into football clubs in that part of the world. It comes from somewhere and it's being invested for a reason.
Some may say the ends justify the means. Do they?
