Indonesia bidding for World Cup 2022
Despite the disappointing result last night Indonesian football has still given us something to laugh about. The country is bidding for the 2022 World Cup!
I know, it’s good to be ambitious. But can you imagine Brazil playing Japan in Samarindra or Germany against England in Soreang? Netherlands playing Argentina in Palembang?
Knocking aside it would be wonderful to have the World Cup here. But where do they intend rustling up the extra stadiums? What about the roads? Hotels? Of course, the government is expected to sort all that out. Hmmm…
