Myanmar v Indonesia
5' - Myanmar take the lead when a free kick into the box is headed home by an unmarked home player Soe Myat Min. Bloody awful defending with one defender ball watching instead of attacking the damned thing 1-0
9' - free kick from Ismed Sofyan and a header from Musafry, a surprise replacement for Aliyudin up front, goes close
11' - big, passionate crowd. Is the ref strong enough?
12' - Bambang latches on to long ball but volleys straight at the keeper
13' - Erol Iba finds Musafry in space but the Persiba striker's drive goes inches wide
14' - Musafry goes wide left, pulls the ball back from the byline. Bambang misses but a Myanmar puts it in his own net. 1-1
21' - This is much better from Indonesia. Musafry is at the heart of most of what is good as he was against Bangladesh in the first half and Ismed's crossing is worrying the Myanmar defence
25' - Horison gets caught off his line in a challenge. The ball spins clear with the Persik keeper rolling in agony. Skipper Charis doesn;t shirk the rebound and it's handbags for a few moments
32' - Horison is hurt as he punches a free kick clear and collides with an incoming attacker. Not the first time Horison has elected not to hold onto incoming.
40' - Defensively Indonesia look shaky. Myanmar are able to take short corners while the Indonesian defence have their minds on something else.
Half Time 1-1. Indonesia played out the first half with a 60 second game of keep ball across the back four and a few yards inside the Myanmar half. Discipline that has often been missing from national team performances. Going forward they have looked good with Ponaryo being the puppet master and Musafry moving intelligently.
46' - Indonesia pushing and Ponaryo Astaman sees his shot deflected onto the crossbar.
47' - Isnan Ali gives away a daft free kick then decides he got a knock in the face and crumples like the proverbial house of cards. Embarrassing, why do players think they can get away with this nonsense?
51' - Again static defending by the Indonesians but Myanmar are unable to take advantage.
55' - Usep Munandar carelessly concedes possession just inside the Indonesia half but again Myanmar are unable to capitalise
56' - This time Mr Reliable Ponaryo gives the ball away. Myanmar are edging themselves back into this game
58' - Corner by sub Elie Aiboy, Bambang finds space, pulls it back but support is late coming
60' - Horison is holding the crosses better but still needs a second touch on free kicks and hard drives aimed at him
62' - Another free kick, a half baked attempt by an Indonesian defender but the geezer who got the first added his second, beating Horison low at the near post. 2-1 Myanmar
65' - Down the other end Firman Utina has a free kick from a similar posisition but Myanmar have numbers and discipline and clear without any drama
66' - Myanmar are rampant and Horison saves his side twice in a matter of seconds. The second save resulted in a corner and Munandar misses a free header but luckily for him skipper Charis clears. Kind of...
69' - Myanmar hit the cross bar. Indonesia are on the back foot
71' - If I was Indonesian I would be turning this off. The defence is having a collective nightmare. Indonesia need some serious possession but the midfield is not being allowed time on the ball. Musafry has hardly had a look in all second half.
74' - Indonesia have Titus Bramble and William Gallas at the heart of their defence.
77' - Ismed swings in a corner but nobody attacks the damned thing. While lining up the ball the Persija full back was pelted with plastic bottles.
79' - Elie Aiboy lobs the ball into the area and Bambang finds space but just wide. Indonesia limited to long balls forward hoping Bambang gets a knock down or they win the second ball.
83' - A free kick from inside right clears the defence and Bambang coming in at the back stick is unable to control it
87' - Men against boys. Another ball needlessly given away by the Indonesian defence and suddenly Myanmar have two against two. This time the crossbar saves Indonesia
90' - 5 minutes injury time!
91' - Indonesia haven't had a midfield second half.
92' - Long ball forward, Bambang nods down but the ball is behind sub Aliyudin. Long balls is all Indonesia have offered for a while now, ever snce they conceded the middle.
93' - As 92' but this time Aliyudin returns the ball to Bambang who is soon crowded out
Myanmar win 2-1. The hosts showed much more bite in the second half but they were helped by some comical defending. First half Indonesia showed they could be a threat in the AFF Cup but any thoughts of winning the trophy will depend on whether or not coach Dollo can add bite to a soft centre. PSM's hardworking Syamsul should return to the middle but it's at the back where questions remain.
