National Stadium for Singapore?

The Singapore FA are considering using the National Stadium should they reach the semis and final of the upcoming AFF Cup. The Stadium originally had it's farewell party last year in a friendly against Australia but has subsequently hosted a few games including a prestige friendly against the Brazilian Olympic squad.

Plans had been in place to expand Bishan Stadium but with the National Stadium still awaiting the bulldozers there is a chance the old girl maybe dusted off one more time.

Much depends on talks between the FA and the people who own the Stadium, the Singapore Sports Council.
