Mbamba's Out
Emile Mbamba without doubt was one of the best foreign talents in the country. The Arema Malang striker had played at the highest level, scored in the UEFA Champions League. He was a bit young to have been there and done that but he had a career ahead of him.
He still does only not in Indonesia. The FA have banned him for five years and fined him $5,5oo after his outburts against the referee during Arema's recent home defeat by PKT.
Time and time again during his short career Mbamba's indiscipline has let down himself and his team mates. This season alone he has collected four yellows and two reds in his eight games.
Talk to football officials here and they stress one thing. They want foreign players to pass on their skills and set a good example. In his 12 months here Mbamba has done one but not the other.
