Singapore Cup Semi Final Draw
RHB Singapore Cup semi finals fixtures
SINGAPORE, 30 July 2008: Woodlands Wellington kicks off the semi final round of the RHB Singapore Cup 2008 when they host first time semi finalist Young Lions at the Woodlands stadium on 21 August.
Woodlands, six times Singapore Cup semi finalist, will be aiming to reach their first final since 2005.
The return leg takes place three days later at the Jalan Besar stadium on 24 August.
The identity of the remaining semi finalists will be known following the completion of the respective quarter final second legs in August.
RHB Singapore Cup holders SAFFC was held to a 1-1 draw by Super Reds in the first leg with the second leg scheduled on 18 August at the Choa Chu Kang stadium.
Home United protect a slender one goal lead when they host Tampines Rovers at Bishan on 17 August in the second leg.
In the other quarter final, RHB Singapore Cup holders SAFFC was held to a 1-1 draw by Super Reds in the first leg with the second leg scheduled on 18 August at the Choa Chu Kang stadium.
The semi finals will be played over two legs and the away goal rules will not apply.
