SAFFC Held at Home
SAF dropped two more points yesterday as they were surprisingly held by Geylang United at their Choa Chu Kang Stadium. And they were made to work for that point.
Twice visitors Geylang took the lead and twice Alex Duric, on his 38th birthday, equalised.
Three players saw red in the last minute, two from SAF, as they sought desperately to put some distance between themselves and challengers Home United and Super Reds.
This draw means the Warriors have picked up just two points from their last three games and they lead both Home and Super Reds by two points having played a game more.
Tonight Home United have a chance to leapfrog SAF to top spot. All they have to do is beat Tampines Rovers.
Piece of piss!
