SAF's perfect start
You want perfection? Try SAF's start to the SLeague and the AFC Cup.
v Albirex Niigata (SLeague) 3-1
v Geylang United (SLeague) 3-1
v Sengkang Punggol (SLeague) 3-0
v Dalian Shide (SLeague) 6-1
v Tampines Rovers (SLeague) 2-1
v Woodlands (SLeague) 3-0
v Kitchee (AFC Cup) 4-0
v Perak (AFC Cup) 6-1
v New Radiant (AFC Cup) 3-0
Leading goalscorers (all competitions)
Duric 11
Shariff 6
Therdsak 4
Last season Richard Bok's men collected a League and Cup double as well as peroforming admirably in the AFC Cup reaching the knock out stages. This season can they go one better and add the League Cup domestically and the AFC Cup? That would be a real feather in their cap!
Just a thought but while SAF do average something like 2700 fans per home game would they do better if they were named after an area of Singapore rather than the military?
