Duric hits a hat trick
A hat trick in 9 second half minutes from Alexander Duric sent SAF back to the top of the SLeague last night as they brushed aside Young Lions.
Their eighth straight win of the season is an SLeague record beating the previous one held by SAF back in 2002.
The Warriors are two points clear of Home United in second and three points clear of Super Reds. With eight games played it is difficult to see any other team challenging for the title won last year by SAF and indeed it is probably only a matter of time before Super Reds fall away.
In the 12 years of the SLeague SAF have won it six times and come second on four occassions. Home have won it twice as have Tampines and Geylang.
