Liga Final Under Threat
The Sports Minister is threatening to cancel Saturday's Liga Final in the wake of incidents last night that resulted in one youth dying.
He is furious at the numerous incidents that have blighted the game over recent months and the lack of action taken by authorities to put their house in order.
Referring to the Asian Cup he wanted to know how the games then could pass off without incident but run of the mill games can see violent incidents despite the presence of 3,000 security personnel.
The Minister, Adhyaksa, wants an end to club games at Bung Karno, suggesting they be pushed as far away as possible from Jakarta while also saying he will meet with police officials and evaluate the events of Wednesday night. If the results are bad he says he will have no hesitation in cancelling the game on Saturday between PSMS and Sriwijaya

Finally someone is taking a stand. Hope he promises what he threatens to do.
He's right, how can an 80,000 spectator Asian Cup match be run well and a run of the mill domestic game turn into a free-for-all?
