Thais fret about cold weather
This is taken from the ASEAN football website and I thought it funny because tonight in England Arsenal prepare to take on Newcastle in one of the grimmest climates in a grim climate country.
Defending champions Thailand are worried about the cooler conditions in Nakhon Ratchasima – the venue of the SEA Games this year - which they felt could be a factor in their defence of the men’s football title.Thongsuk Sumpahangsit, the head coach for Thailand, said that with the evening weather in Korat dipping below 20 Degrees Celcius, it will be important that the players take good care of themselves.“There are no worries with injuries but the cold weather conditions particularly in the evening in the province could affect the players,” said Thongsuk.
Oh but it's tough in the tropics...
I think it's fair to say the Thais may worry more about the cold than about facing Indonesia later this week
