Persita v Persib 1-1
The result nobody wanted. Both teams now require maximum points from their final three games, other results to go their way plus perhaps a daily diet of three shredded wheat.
Crowd trouble marred the game as Persita fans, not for the first time, attacked the visiting Persib fans, throwing rocks into their enclosure. Police kept the Vikings in the stadium for one hur after the game while the home fans were cleared.
A word about the Benteng Stadium in Tangerang. It is near the local government offices and in the shadow of a great mosque that dominates the skyline locally. I guess is is beyond the wit of people there to tidy the place up once in a while?
Basri gave the home team the lead before Barkoui got a late equaliser.
