Pelita Jaya's mixed Malaysian bag
Fandi Ahmad's Pelita Jaya returned from Malaysia having played a couple of friendlies as preparation for their upcoming Copa Indonesia battles.
They beat Premier League Shazan Muda 3-0 in their first game before going down 2-1 to Malaysian Super Leg Pahang in their second.
On Sunday they play their Copa Indonesia Quarter Final First Leg at Benteng Stadium against Benny Dollo's Persita. Benny of course is on a Copa hat trick having won in 2005 and 2006 with Arema.
As if that ain't enough for Fandi and his men they face a battle to climb into the Top 9 that would ensure Liga Super football next season.
In their final league fixtures they play PSS on 19th December, before hosting Persib Bandung in a West Java derby three days later.
On 27th December they travel to Cibinong to play Persikabo in another derby before finishing their Liga campaign at Persikota on 30th December.
Their second leg at home to Persita is 8th January at their Purnawarman Stadium.
