The final round of fixtures

Tomorrow sees the final round of fixtures in Liga Indonesia 2007 with plenty still to be decided. In the Western Division PSMS, Persija and Persik battle out the final berths in the Play Offs. Where they finish defines where they play, Kediri or Solo with Persija manager Ferry saying he would prefer Solo because of it's better transport links.

Pelita Jaya and PSIS battle it out for the remaining Liga Super place on offer next season. Pelita Jaya have the upper hand being three points clear and having a superior goal difference.

In the Eastern Division five clubs are battling the remaining three Play Off spots. Persiwa host Persibom and should be feeling secure given their home record. PSM have a tricky fixture at Persiba while the Deltras from Sidoarjo won't fancy making the shortish journey to struggling PSIM who give little away at home.

Coach Miroslav Jamu takes his Arema all stars, minus the suspended Bruno Casmir, to Persebaya while Persiter will be happy at facing Persis on home turf where they are unbeaten.

Elsewhere PSMS travel to East Java where they play Persela Lamongan without several key players. James Koko, Mahyadi Panggabean and Saktiawan Sinaga are among those suspended.

Persib return to Siliwangi Stadium after playing their last couple of home games at Jaluk Harapat Stadium in Soreang. Radouane Barkaoui, possibly one of the few players in the world with four vowels at the end of his name, plays his last game for Maung Bandung before moving to Malaysia where he will play for Pahang.

The live game tomorrow is Persija against Semen Padang which seems an odd, if safe, choice. Surely the Persikota v Pelita Jaya, PSIS v PSSB or Persebaya v Arema fixtures would have been better viewing?

Finally spare a thought for Perseman. They travel to PKT Bontang knowing defeat there would consign them to the history books. Not many teams these days lose all of their away games in a season.
