Boxing Day goal bonanza
Persitara v Persema 6-1 (Ebendje, Sonkaliey, Kurniawan DY, Bationo, Dickson, Doni: Effendi)
Sriwijaya v Persik 5-0 (Anoure, Lenglolo 2, Gumbs 2)
Persela v PSSB 3-0 (Marcio Souza 2, Putiray)
PSIS v PSMS 1-1 (Lopez:Chena)
Persigi v Arema 1-1 (Belibi:Casmir)
Persebaya v Persekabpas 0-1
Sriwijaya secured the Western Division Championship by majextically sweeping aside Persik Kediri 5-0 in Palembang. PSIS's draw at home to PSMS means the Semarang club, fresh from securing sponsorship for next season, will not be in the Liga Super next season. With one game left they lie four points adrift of 9th placed Persib, themselves not sure of top flight football next season. Expect Julio Lopez, the Liga's second top scorer, to lead an exodus over the close season.
Arema, roared on by more than a thousand travelling supporters could only draw 1-1 at bottom club Persigi Bali meaning they are second on 56 points. With Persiwa, Persiter, Persmin and Persijap capable of getting more points than the Malang team Arema are still not guaranteed a Play Off spot
UPDATE
Apologies to PSIS fans...their club are two points adrift of 9th placed Persib with one game remaining. Liga Super next season is still a possibility
