Persib v Sriwijaya 0-1
Persib's recent poor run continued as they fell at home to fellow title challngers Sriwijaya at an empty Siliwangi Stadium this afternoon. Poor defending at a corner allowed someone a free header that bounced over the despairing leap of the diminutive defender on the goal line.
The side from Palembang go top of the league while Persib look back on two wins in their last eleven.
The game was not accompanied the usual histrionics that plague games here. I guess with no fans there was no audience to play up to. Pity we don't see it more often.

Persib in fact played so much better today compared to their past home games. I think the presence of fans gave them a lot of pressure. Poor defending by Persib cost them this match, the referee did miss a blatant foul by Sriwijaya that should resulted penalty (to Persib) and a yellow card or even red card.
the keeper was woeful at the corner that lead to the goal but i think the issue of player discipline does seem to go away when there are no fans in the stadium. there was a persikota game a while back where the players were so well behaved i had to kick myself. days later or before, i forget the dates, they had played pelita jaya and it was a kick fest
