Valencia to tour Indonesia???
Apparently Metro TV went with a story that Spanish giants Valencia would be visiting Indonesia during the month of July. Which does seem a trifle odd as it is slap bang in the middle of the Asian Cup, the final of which is being held in Jakarta.
I checked the Valencia, Metro TV and Indonesian FA sites yesterday but found nothing. However the FA are now reporting this from which I think the schedule has not been confirmed.
Obviously were Valencia to come here it would be a major boost for local fans and much better than wheeling out old has beens like Zinedine Zidaine and Diego Maradona. But as the song went, it's only a matter of time!
