Tampines fallout

One paper called it Black Sunday and breathlessly described fans threw water bottles and '(stood) by the barricades of the canvas tunnel' waiting for the ref to leave the pitch. The same paper goes on about a 'night of shame.' Singapore's other papers decided to cover friendlies in other countries and ignore the action in their own backyard. Oh and did you know some Malaysian singer may quit in a couple of years time?

But before the fun and games happened at Tampines there was a highly anticipated football match between two of the biggest teams in the land. It was expected to be firey and so it turned out and you can get a feel of the atmosphere by checking out Jakarta Casual TV.

I didn't record any of the good bits and for that I have a very honest and at the same time very pathectic excuse. I didn't have a tripod. I think at least one individual involved in certain incidents has reason to be grateful...
